Illumex is a NYC-based provider who provides a generative fabric platform for structured enterprise information. The company has raised $13M.

The round was led Cardumen Capital with Amdocs Ventures and Samsung Ventures. ICI Fund, Jibe Ventures and Iron Nation Fund were also involved, as well as Ginossar Ventures and ICON Fund. Today Ventures and an angel investor also participated.

The company plans to use the money to expand its operations and to develop its development efforts.

Founded by Inna Tokarev Sela in 2010, illumex offers organizations a generative fabric platform that automates the mapping of data semantics, and resolves terminological inconsistencies between business silos – a crucial step to achieving AI and GenAI ready. The platform is an intermediary layer that reconciles silos of data and automatically adds meaning and context to data. This enables transparent AI initiatives. It opens up enterprise use cases that are transformative for generative AI by enabling transparent, governed data interaction with LLMs.

The company has already signed partnerships with Microsoft Cloud, Google Cloud and AWS and is already used by large enterprises like Teva and Carson for their data AI readiness.

illumex has been a part of the Intel Ignite program and ICON program.
