Security awareness training provider, KnowBe4, has announced the completion of its acquisition of adaptive and integrated cloud email security company, Egress.
This strategic move aims to enhance KnowBe4’s cybersecurity offerings and deliver a unified user experience.
KnowBe4’s acquisition of Egress marks a step in expanding its capabilities in the cybersecurity domain. Egress will be integrated into KnowBe4’s existing platform over the coming months. This integration is expected to provide comprehensive protection against human-targeted threats and improve the overall experience for their users.
CEO of KnowBe4, Stu Sjouwerman, said human risk management is an essential component of a comprehensive cybersecurity programme.

KnowBe4 plans to fully integrate Egress’s solutions into its platform within the next few months. All customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals have been completed, and the acquisition is officially closed.
