Kennet, a London and Silicon Valley-based growth equity firm, has raised €266 million for its sixth fund.
Kennet focuses on high-growth SaaS technology companies.
Edmond de Rothschild is a cornerstone investor in Kennet VI. The pool’s other backers include British Patient Capital, Federated Hermes Private Equity and Bpifrance.
On the fundraising, Michael Elias, managing director at Kennet, said in a statement, “This fundraise marks another important milestone for Kennet as we close our largest fund to date, with a significant number of previous investors participating in this fund. At a time when the market has recognised that ‘growth at any cost’ is no longer rational, our long-standing conservative strategy has appealed to investors.”
Kennet VI’s investments include Ireland and UK-based Screendragon and France-based Fluid Topics.
As a result of the current fundraising, Kennet now has over €1.3 billion assets under management.
