BoldHue, a Boise, ID-based beauty-tech company, raised nearly $3.4M in Seed funding.
The round, which brought the total amount nearly $5.2M, was led by Lucas Venture Group with participation from Capital Eleven, Backstage Capital, Tacoma Ventures, Mark Cuban, and Kevin Huvane.
The company intends to use the funds to accellerate the development of its patented device to begin shipping its first 10,000 units this fall to a waitlist of over 40,000.
Founded in 2020 by Rachel Wilson and Karin Layton, BoldHue is a beauty technology company known for its device that formulates foundation on-demand at home.
BoldHue initially raised nearly $2M between the company’s friends and family and pre-seed rounds, and this $3.37M seed fundraise marks their first priced round.
