Polish startup Revoize, specializing in noise reduction and speech enhancement technologies, announced it has raised a pre-seed round of €458k from venture capital fund AIP Seed and co-investor Marcin Żukowski. This investment will accelerate the development of Revoize’s advanced algorithms, improving the quality of real-time conversations for billions of people worldwide. The goal is to establish Revoize as the voice communication quality improvement technology leader.
According to the startup, Revoize breaks barriers in speech technology, transforming noisy and degraded recordings into studio-quality sound using Generative AI. They aim to eliminate the obstacles to mutual understanding and improve the comfort of real-time conversations, making remote interactions more efficient and enjoyable than face-to-face meetings.
Dariusz Żuk, CEO and founder of venture capital fund AIP Seed, said: “Revoize is a unique startup founded by Stanisław Andrzej Raczyński — an exceptionally experienced and talented founder. He has extensive experience working on audio technologies at BabbleLabs, a company acquired by Cisco Webex. He is an expert in speech technology with a Ph.D. from the prestigious University of Tokyo in this field. Secondly, we see a significant market problem related to improving the quality of real-time audio. This is not just about noise reduction or removing background sounds but improving the core quality of the audio itself. Revoize is working intensively to solve this issue. Thirdly, we are delighted to have established cooperation with Marcin. These are the three key aspects of our investment: an exceptional founder, a real market need, and a valuable co-investor”.
The round includes participation from Marcin Żukowski, co-founder of Snowflake and Vectorwise, currently a board member of Endeavor Poland, and a business angel in many Polish startups.
Stanisław Andrzej Raczyński, founder, CEO, and CTO of Revoize, is an engineer and researcher with 18 years of R&D experience in machine learning, speech AI, signal processing, and robotics. He also has 21 years of professional experience in engineering and technology development. Previously, he worked at Cisco, Intel, and BabbleLabs, where he was involved in speech and audio enhancement technologies.
Commenting on the investment, he said: “We are extremely grateful for the trust placed in us by AIP Seed and Marcin. This investment will allow us to develop further our technology, which has the potential to revolutionize online communication. Our goal is to provide solutions that improve real-time conversations’ quality, intelligibility, and comfort, making remote interactions clearer and more efficient. We believe our innovations will significantly enhance user experiences worldwide.”
The market includes everyone who communicates remotely, which presents enormous growth potential. According to the startup, generative speech technology algorithms are just in the early stages of development.
