Crux Capital, a Dallas-based private equity company, has hired Ardi Sahinovic to be its director of business development and Amanda Kennelly to be vice president of administration. The firm said that the strategic hires demonstrate a commitment towards bolstering their capabilities and driving growth.

“The additions of Amanda and Ardi reflect Crux Capital’s commitment to supporting our expanding operations and strengthening our capabilities.” We are excited to use their expertise to continue to grow,” Principal James Kay stated in a press release.

Business development

Sahinovic will be leading the firm’s origination effort and supporting deal execution, investor relationships, and capital formation.

“We are thrilled to have Ardi joining our team. His extensive experience in the business development field and his strategic vision are going to be invaluable as we expand our portfolio and explore other investment opportunities,” Wayne Moore said in a Crux Capital statement.

Sahinovic brings to Crux a wealth experience, according to the firm. He played a similar role with Roark Capital in Atlanta, a private equity firm that manages $38 billion of assets. Sahinovic gained a lot of experience at Roark working with franchises and multi-unit businesses.

“Crux impressed me with the track record it has in creating value for its partners and investors.” Sahinovic said, “I feel privileged to be a part of this growing organization. I look forward to the future we can create together.”

Sahinovic began his career as a Deloitte management consultant after two years of non-profit work with Teach for America.

Administrative Management

Kennelly brings to the firm over 15 years experience in administrative support, project and office management. Crux said.

She worked as a office manager for Renovo Capital in Dallas, a private equity company. Kennelly had previously worked in similar roles for other investment firms.

Crux Capital stated that it is well positioned to continue on its growth trajectory with these appointments.
