Bioluminescence Ventures, a San Francisco-based biotech venture firm, has named Dr. Campbell Murray as a senior partner.
Most recently, Murray was a general partner at Agent Capital. He is also a former managing director at Novartis Venture Fund. Other career highlights include serving as president & chief operating officer of Diabetes Free and Intima Bioscience.
“I am privileged and excited to welcome Campbell Murray to the Bioluminescence Ventures team,” said founding and managing partner Kouki Harasaki in a statement. “Campbell will work with our venture team to identify and assess mission-driven biotechnology companies within our focused disciplines. His background in medicine and wealth of life science expertise, from seed to exit, will be invaluable to our portfolio companies as they advance their therapeutic programs from bench to bedside.”
Bioluminescence invests in four areas: breakthrough biology, drug discovery platforms, genetic medicines platforms and computational biology platforms.
