Sydney VC raises $20m in four days for ‘evergreen’ fifth fund

Venture capital firm EVP has banked $20 million since last Thursday from its partners and existing investors for its fifth fund, which the Sydney-based firm expects will swell to $500 million in the next decade.

EVP opened its new opportunities fund on Thursday morning and is targeting a first close of $30-$50 million of capital to make growth stage investments in Australian and New Zealand software businesses.
