Prologis Mobility’s charging infrastructure has powered 10 million miles of travel for heavy-duty electric trucks, an equivalent to circling the Earth 400 times or making 20 round trips to the Moon, the company announced in the news release.

Since launching its first major heavy-duty truck charging projects in 2022, Prologis says it has expanded its network to support decarbonization efforts. The company partnered with Maersk’s Performance Team to establish charging sites in California, which collectively provide 4 megawatts (MW) of charging capacity and can charge up to 38 trucks at a time.

In 2024, Prologis opened its Denker facility in Torrance, Calif., which the company describes as North America’s largest heavy-duty EV charging hub powered by a microgrid. The site, built in just five months, combines renewable energy and battery storage to charge up to 96 trucks simultaneously, the release reads.

The company has expanded its EV charging footprint to other states, too, including Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
