Seattle cybersecurity startup Protect AI announced that it acquired SydeLabs, a Bangalore, India-based startup founded last year that helps companies secure their generative AI applications and systems.
- The acquisition will boost Protect AI’s efforts to help companies monitor the various layers and components of machine learning systems.
- Protect AI added all nine employees from SydeLabs as a result of the deal. Terms were not disclosed.
- Protect AI acquired Laiyer AI earlier this year. The company, led by former engineering leaders at Amazon and Oracle, raised $35 million last year. It employs 75 people across Seattle, Berlin, and Bangalore.
